A few years ago, building Web3 apps on Bitcoin seemed impossible, but Hiro, a suite of open-source developer tools, has changed that. As the leading tooling company in the Stacks ecosystem, Hiro needed a brand that reflected their mission and growth while remaining true to their developer roots. Departing from crypto clichés, a new visual identity was created, featuring a logo inspired by the command-line with a unique /-/, symbolizing forward momentum and open-source principles. The design uses Aeonik Bold and Aeonik Fono for text, incorporating a vibrant orange color as a nod to Bitcoin, complemented by pastels reminiscent of early computing. This identity positions Hiro as a bold and innovative player in Web3. Since its launch, Hiro has attracted over 2,000 developers to its platform waitlist and achieved record-high new database subscribers each quarter.
